Coronavirus UPDATE: Five deaths and 161 newly infected in Serbia
The official data showed on Thursday that among 10,764 people tested 161 were confirmed infected with the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, while five patients died from COVID-19.
The Health Ministry said the death toll stood at 689 and that a mortality ratio was 2.28 percent.
It added that 1,245 patients were hospitalised on Thursday, 52 of them on ventilators.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic in Serbia on March 6, a total of 842,441 people were tested, and coronavirus infection was confirmed in 30,209 cases.
