After a successful world premiere of Bosnian director Jasmila Zbanic's film “Quo Vadis, Aida?” at the 77th Venice Film Festival, it will be screened on Sunday within the 45th Toronto International Film Festival's (TIFF) official program, Deblokada production's said in a statement.
The statement added that the largest North American film festival will screen 50 films from around the world this year, and among them are the achievements of directors Spike Lee, Thomas Winterberg, Michael Frank, Francois Ozon, Naomi Kawase, Kornél Mondruczó Pered and others.
The TIFF will be held from September 10 to 19 and will host festival ambassadors, 50 celebrated film directors and actors including Ava DuVerney, Nicole Kidman, Martin Scorsese, Nadine Labaki, Isabelle Huppert, Claire Denis, Alfonso Cuaron.
The Jasmila Zbanic's film will have screenings on September 14 and 19 as part of the TIFF, the statement said.
