Two people died and 18 were injured in northern Bosnia after a clash between two groups of Pakistani and Afghan migrants, Una-Sana Canton Police spokesperson Ale Siljdedic told N1 on Thursday.
“Bihac Police Station received a call Wednesday at 10:15 pm saying that there was a mass clash at Zerarsko polje between a large group of migrants and that there are injured migrants among them,” Siljdedic said.
“The police confirmed that two persons died, 10 suffered serious injuries and eight only got minor injuries,” he said.
According to police reports, the clash happened between a group of Pakistani migrants who were attacked by a group of Afghan citizens.
Siljdedic added that the terrain is inhospitable and that suspects who killed the two migrants had already gone towards the Croatian border.
