Incomplete remains of at least three victims of the previous war were exhumed Wednesday at the Jabucko sedlo site in eastern Bosnia, the Missing person Institute said.

“The remains were discovered following a landslide near a local road, and it is assumed that these are victims who went missing in the area in 1992,” the Institute for Missing Persons said.

The exhumed skeletal remains will be transferred to the Autopsy and Identification Center in Gorazde for criminal and forensic processing, as well as the removal of bone marrow in order to determine the identity of the victims.
The exhumation was carried out under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office, and by order of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the institute said.
