Bosnia's coronavirus cases continue growing with 999 new infections and 20 death

Bosnian health officials said that Thursday was the worst day yet when it comes to the coronavirus, with 999 newly reported cases of Covid-19, along with 20 virus-related fatalities.

The country's Federation (FBiH) entity reported 606 new cases after testing 2,075 samples for the new coronavirus. The entity's Public Health Institute said they recorded 17 deaths caused by the virus.

The Republika Srpska (RS) region said they registered 387 new cases of the disease after testing 963 suspected samples. This entity also reported having three fatalities over the last 24 hours.

Brcko District also reported 6 new cases of the disease and no fatalities.

The hardest-hit city is Sarajevo once again with a total of 169 confirmed cases.

Yesterday the country recorded 926 Covid-19 cases.
