The film ‘Quo Vadis, Aida?’ by Bosnian director Jasmila Zbanic, which recently won best international feature film at the Antalya Film Festival, was screened at the Vienna International Film Festival (Viennale) on Monday.
The movie, which is Bosnia’s candidate for the Academy Award, was previously screened at the Venice Film Festival and the Toronto Film Festival.
The plot revolves around Aida, a translator working for the UN in the protected safe zone of Srebrenica on the eve of the July 1995 genocide.
Viennale is the biggest international film festival in Austria.
