Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan responded to the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, with whom he spoke after the earthquake in the Aegean Sea, who expressed his condolences to the families of the victims in Turkey on social networks.
Erdogan responded in the English language to Prime Minister Mitsotakis.
“Thank you, Mr. Prime Minister.
I offer my condolences to all of Greece on behalf of myself and the Turkish people. Turkey, too, is always ready to help Greece heal its wounds.
That two neighbors show solidarity in difficult times is more valuable than many things in life,” Erdogan tweeted.

According to the latest estimates, the 7.0 Richter scale earthquake demolished at least 20 buildings in the Turkish city of Izmir, leaving 14 dead and over 420 injured.
