Incomplete skeletal remains of at least two people, believed to belong to Bosnian Serb victims from the 1992-1995 war, were exhumed in the area of Gostovic, near the central town of Zavidovici, Bosnia’s Institute for Missing Persons said on Friday.
The Institute said that it is believed that the victims are Serbs who disappeared in the area of Vozuca in 1995.
The remains will now be sent to the relevant institution in Banja Luka for identification through DNA samples extracted from the bone marrow.
The exhumation procedure was lead by Bosnia’s Prosecutor’s Office and ordered by the state Court.
