Composer, musician, and performer of the traditional Bosnian folk music 'Sevdalinka' Nedzad Imamovic has passed away in Sarajevo on Saturday, after a long illness at the age of 72.
He was born in 1948 in Sarajevo, in a musical family dedicated to the traditional music of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Since the early 1970s, he has performed as a vocal soloist, at festivals and independently, and recorded dozens of notable records. He wrote songs for himself and for others.
