He has now joined the Nobel prize winners such as Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, Herta Mueller, legendary Daisaku Ikeda, Ravi Shankar and others who were awarded this unique recognition that the UNESCO-protected city of Ohrid and its academy has delivered to fourteen prominent figures to date.

“It is a great honour that the Ohrid Academy of Humanism listed my name among the recipients of this prestigious award, which has been delivered to the individuals who left a deep trace in the world's history of humanism. I am happy to announce my presence in Ohrid at the award ceremony,” Said Sarcevic.
