The Central Election Commission (CEC) has annulled the local election in the northwestern municipality of Novi Grad in Bosnia’s Republika Srpska (RS) entity and adopted a decision on starting a process of determining possible breaches of rules of the election process in the electoral units of Doboj and Srebrenica.

Local elections took place in Bosnia on Sunday, November 15.

The CEC ordered the election in Novi Grad to be repeated on November 29. The institution said that the election process in the electoral unit was ended before it was supposed to on election day and that it as not completed according to law.
