Another 1,237 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Thursday, according to healthcare authorities.

The new results came out of 4,139 lab test for coronavirus.

Based on daily statistics, the number of currently active cases has dropped from 33,573 to 32,869 throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The country has confirmed the total of 77,994 Covid-19 patients since the epidemic outbreak. Of that number, 49,627 cases were reported in the Federation (FBiH), 26,941 in Republika Srpska (RS) and 1,426 in Brcko District (BD) – three separate administrative units running their healthcare systems independently.

According to official statistics, 1,885 patients recovered since the last update on Thursday.

To this date, 2,209 fatalities were reported among Covid-19 patients, 56 in the last 24 hours.

The total of 390,919 lab tests has been conducted in the country since the epidemic outbreak and 42,916 patients have recovered.
