The Archbishop of the Catholic Church in Bosnia, Vinko Puljic, as well as Coadjutor Archbishop, Tomo Vuksic, tested negative for the coronavirus on Saturday and left the hospital in Sarajevo where they were being treated after contracting the virus, the Archdiocese said.
Puljic, 75, thanked all those who prayed for him to get better, as well as the medical staff at the hospital.
“Not only were they professional but humane and very kind. We admired their patience with the patients. At first we thought they were behaving like only that towards us, but later we realized that they were like that towards every patient,” said Puljic.
