Bosnia's Justice Minister Josip Grubesa told Srna news agency they sent Serbia an extradition request for Darko Elez who was arrested in Belgrade on Tuesday.
“We received the Prosecution's request to Serbia to extradite Darko Elez to Bosnia. The request was forwarded to Serbia's Justice Ministry and now we're waiting for their decision,” Grubesa said.

The Prosecution earlier said they are requesting Elez's extradition for the trial in the case called “Lutka” (“Doll”) and the investigation of crimes in Istocno Sarajevo, Bosnia between 2017 and 2019.
Elez is charged with organised crime in the “Lutka” case in connection with several serious crimes such as murder, attempted murder, robbery and other crimes committed between 2005 and 2009.
