Mayor of BiH town of Bijeljina, Mico Micic, passed away due to COVID-19

"After several weeks of fighting the disease caused by the novel coronavirus and despite the efforts of our doctors and medical staff to save his life, Mr. Mico Micic passed away today at the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska at 12:05 pm," a statement by the hospital where he was being treated said.

Micic was on a ventilator at the University Clinical Centre of Bosnia’s semi-autonomous Republika Srpska (RS) entity since November 26 and suffered lung failure on December 11.
