BiH Prosecution: Pirate damaged United Media Group with €450,000 in copyright

BiH Prosecution charged 23-year-old Amar Muslija from the Bosnian town of Bijeljina of illegally enabled the placement of a large number of video content, series and films from the country and the region, via the Internet, the showing of which is protected by copyright.

He is charged with making over 700 episodes of series of different authors and productions from BiH and the region publically available without permission from copyright owners in 2019.

The investigation concluded that the accused gained illegal monetary benefits by enabling different forms of advertisements on his websites.
The police raided the accused's apartment in mid-December for the purpose of gathering evidence in connection with the committed criminal offence, unauthorized use of copyrights which caused damage of €450,000 to the United Media Group.

Amar Musla is suspected of having committed the crime of unauthorized use of copyright from December 2017 to date to the detriment of United Media Group.

Srna news agency learned unofficially that the accused provided access to TV shows “Ubice mog oca,” “Konak kod Hilmije,” “Zigosani u reketu,” “Na granici,” “Kad susjedi polude,” “Kud poklo da puklo,” “Samo ti pricaj,” “Ujka – novi horizonti.”

According to unofficial information, A. M. managed the sites andrija-i-andjelka.com, filmovitica.com, serijehaha.com, serije.co, filmovi.ws, praveserije.com and serijefilmovi.com.
