The session of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was adjourned several months ago, was scheduled to resume today. However, the Speaker of the House, Kemal Ademovic, announced at the beginning that the conditions for continuing the session had not been met due to a lack of quorum, as three delegates from the Croat caucus (HDZ BiH) have not showed up.

He noted that the session was scheduled to start at 11:00 and that they waited for 12 minutes.
“We don’t have a quorum - three delegates from the Croat caucus (HDZ BiH) are missing. The Bosniak caucus is fully present, two delegates from the Croat caucus and four delegates from the Serb caucus are here, but we still lack the three delegates required for quorum from the Croat caucus. Therefore, in accordance with the Rules of Procedure, I am declaring a 30-minute recess,” said Ademovic.
Among the remaining items on the agenda that delegates were expected to consider in the continuation of the session are proposals to dismiss officials of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) from the leadership of the House of Peoples and the Council of Ministers of BiH.

These include the proposal to dismiss Stasa Kosarac, Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, and Srdjan Amidzic, Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH, as well as the proposal to relieve Nikola Spiric of his duties as Speaker/First Deputy Speaker/Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.
The proposers of these two agenda items are delegates of the House of Peoples: Nenad Vukovic (PDP), Zelimir Neskovic (SDS), Ilija Cvitanovic (HDZ 1990), Zlatko Miletic (independent delegate) and Kemal Ademovic (NiP).
The proposal to dismiss the SNSD officials from the leadership of the state parliament’s House of Peoples and the Council of Ministers of BiH has been placed on the agenda several times before, but delegates have never had the opportunity to vote on it.
Each time before the discussion could begin, the session was interrupted because delegates from the Serb caucus, members of the SNSD, left the meeting, leaving the House without a quorum to continue its work and decision-making.
