The FBiH Police Administration, in cooperation with the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies, located and apprehended an Afghan national who had taken advantage of an opportunity a few days ago to leave the premises of the FBiH Police Administration.
The individual was processed by the criminal investigation department and will be handed over to the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office along with a report on the committed criminal offense, on suspicion of violating the Law on the Acquisition, Possession and Carrying of Weapons and Ammunition of Sarajevo Canton, as well as the criminal offense of "illegal possession of weapons or explosive materials" under the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The person in question is not being linked in any way to terrorism, the FBiH Police Administration said in a statement.
