Alleged time-bomb exploded in front of Trebinje Hospital

According to this portal, this was a hand-made explosive device that had a timer on it.

The explosion caused material damage to the Hospital building, and the workers of this institution and patients were shocked by this event. The approach to the site was blocked for several hours. The police and the competent prosecutor conducted an investigation.

The on-duty Prosecutor characterized this event as a criminal offence of causing general danger, for which a prison sentence of six months to five years is provided.

A similar explosive device was placed in early July in front of the Zasad-Mostac Local Community, as reported by TrebinjeLive.info. At the time, the police claimed that it was an amateur incendiary device, which was not dangerous for people.

However, TrebinjeLive.info unofficially learned then that there are serious indications that the device contained powder explosives and that it was not an amateur device.

Fortunately, it was spotted before it exploded, and civil defense successfully defused it.
