Prices increased in the sections: transportation by 3.8 percent, recreation and culture by 1.3 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas and other energy sources by 1.0 percent, food and non-alcoholic beverages by 0.7 percent, education by 0.5, furniture, household appliances and regular home maintenance by 0.4 and health by 0.1 percent.

Prices fell in the sections: clothing and footwear by 2.3 percent, other goods and services by 0.3 percent and communications by 0.1 percent, announced the FBiH Statistical Office.

In other sections, on average, prices did not change.

In August 2023, compared to the same month in 2022, prices increased by 3.6 percent (annual inflation).
