A total of 368 new coronavirus infections and 14 COVID-19 fatalities were reported in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past 24 hours, healthcare authorities said on Wednesday.

In Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity, 250 of the 1,998 people tested were positive for the virus and seven COVID-19 patients passed away.

In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 112 of 575 people tested were positive for the virus while seven died due to the disease.

Bosnia’s Brcko District registered another six infections as well.

More than 126,000 people tested positive for the coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic in Bosnia and more than 105,100 of them have recovered so far.

Bosnia's coronavirus death toll is more than 4,900 and there are currently more than 16,000 active cases in the country.
