Another 471 people tested positive for the coronavirus and 33 COVID-19 patients passed away in Bosnia and Herzegovina throughout the past 24 hours, while 542 recoveries were registered, healthcare authorities reported on Sunday.

In Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity, 369 of the 3,364 samples tested since Saturday were positive for the virus and 15 people died from the disease.

In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 92 among the 424 people tested were positive and 14 COVID-19 patients died.

Bosnia’s Brcko District also reported 10 new infections and four COVID-19 fatalities.

A total of 190,767 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in BiH since the beginning of the pandemic and 147,405 of them have recovered so far.

The COVID-19 death toll is 7,870.

There are currently 35,492 active coronavirus cases in the country.
