In his message, Archbishop Vuksic offered greetings on behalf of himself and the Catholic faithful, wishing for the "Merciful Lord to pour out an abundance of His blessings" upon the members of the Islamic Community. He noted the significant spiritual convergence of this year’s calendar, as both Muslims and Christians engaged in periods of fasting and preparation for their respective major holidays simultaneously.

The Archbishop emphasized that this "providential coincidence" serves as a divine reminder that fasting is a spiritual school for internal transformation, a call extended to every individual, nation, and state. Citing the message from the Pontifical Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue, Vuksic expressed a shared desire for believers to follow God's will more faithfully and to build peace originating from "disarmed hearts, minds, and lives."

The greeting further defined such peace as a gift from God, nurtured by the reduction of hostilities through dialogue, the practice of justice, and a commitment to forgiveness. Archbishop Vuksic concluded with the hope that this internal transformation would pave the way for a renewed world where the "weapons of war yield to the courage of peace."

In addition to the central message to the Raisu-l-Ulama, the Archbishop sent individual greetings to several officials, including the Mufti of Sarajevo, Nedzad Grabus, and the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Becirovic.
