Austria is sending a donation of 500,000 AstraZeneca doses to Bosnia and Herzegovina on August 9, foreign minister Bisera Turkovic announced on Wednesday.

She called on all citizens to use the opportunity and get vaccinated, and to help the battle against the joint threat.

Many countries in Europe including Austria had earlier purchased large quantities of vaccines against coronavirus, so they have stocks that are now distributed to the countries that lack vaccines to launch a mass immunisation.
