The average monthly net salary paid per employee in BiH in January this year amounted to 1,328 Bosnian marks or some €679 and was nominally higher by 2.4 percent and in real terms by 2.2 percent compared to the previous month.

Compared to January last year, the average paid net salary was nominally higher by 9.9 percent, while the real index was higher by 7.7 percent, according to the data of the BiH Statistics Agency.

The average monthly gross salary per employee in BiH for January was 2,052 marks (some €1,049), which shows a nominal growth of 2.4 percent, and in real terms, it was higher by 2.2 percent compared to December last year.

The average monthly gross salary paid for January compared to the same month in 2023 was nominally higher by 10.3 percent, while the real index was higher by 8.1 percent.
