The temporary visa waiver is aimed at facilitating travel, strengthening bilateral ties and promoting tourism between the two countries, AzerNEWS reported.

Under the new rules, eligible citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina may enter Azerbaijan without a visa up to three times during the one-year period. Each visit may last for a maximum of 30 days.

The State Migration Service also reminded visitors that all foreign nationals planning to stay in Azerbaijan for more than 15 days must register their place of residence in accordance with the country's Migration Code.

Travellers wishing to extend their temporary stay or apply for a temporary residence permit before the expiry of the initial 30-day period may submit their application in person at State Migration Service counters located in ASAN Service centres or online through the "Electronic Services" section of the agency's official website.
