On the rapids of the Vrbas river, in the Tijesno canyon, about 300 participants from 18 countries compete in the sprint and downhill disciplines.

The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina was formed by kayakers from Banja Luka, Zavidovici, Bihac and Gorazde.

"There are multiple world champions in the race, as well as the current world and European champion. It is a great honour when you have 10-15 people who have won medals in the past 10 years and to compete with them,” said Dusan Mackic from the local ‘Vrbas’ kayak canoe club.
