Due to American sanctions, the bank closed the account of the humanitarian organization headed by Gorica Dodik, "Srpska kuća", which prevented its further work, Gorica Dodik, the daughter of the Republika Srpska (RS) entity President Milorad Dodik, wrote on social networks.

“Due to sanctions imposed on those who will not be subjects and puppets of Michael Murphy (the US ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina), and which were also imposed on me because of, imagine, my father's support, yesterday the bank closed the account of the foundation I head and thus further work became impossible. We have returned all the neutralized funds from the account to the donors, to whom I would like to once again thank from the bottom of my heart for their support,” Gorica wrote.

She recalled that this foundation built three new houses for three families in two years and is finishing two more.

N1 learned unofficially that the closure of the accounts of other individuals and legal entities/firms that are under US sanctions can be expected shortly.

In October 2023, the US Treasury imposed sanctions on the son and daughter of Milorad Dodik, Igor and Gorica.
