Bosnian best basketball player Jusuf Nurkic received the Sarajevo Business Bridge Award as the best ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the 11th Sarajevo Business Forum, a two-day international investment conference which opened on Wednesday.

Speaking at the award ceremony, which took place at the State Parliament building on the first day of the event, Nurkic said it was important to show the world that Bosnia and Herzegovina has assets and possibilities.

“I hope that the state and authorities know that reforms must come,” he said.

“Reforms are priority. No matter how slow the process is, we must do everything for the citizens. Tourism comes as the second. The biggest failure is that we haven't used even five percent of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I hope the moment will come to advertise tourism, and I would be happy to be a part of that,” added Nurkic.
