Becirovic – Reilly: UK to remain among BiH's most important international partners

He noted that comprehensive cooperation between Bosnia and the UK had intensified during this period, with numerous high-level meetings and visits, as well as strengthened cooperation in defense, security, the economy and other areas of mutual interest.

The Chair stressed that the UK remains one of Bosnia’s closest and most important international partners. He particularly thanked the UK for its strong support for BiH’s European and Euro-Atlantic path, as well as its consistent engagement in preserving the country’s peace, stability and constitutional order.

Becirovic said the close partnership between the two countries was also reflected in concrete results, highlighting British support for Bosnia's Armed Forces, significant British investments and the strong growth in the number of tourists from the UK in recent years.

The Chair wished Ambassador Reilly every success in his future professional and personal life.

Ambassador Reilly thanked the Chair for the excellent cooperation and open dialogue during his mandate and expressed confidence that the friendship and close partnership between Bosnia and the UK would continue to develop in the future.
