The memorandum of understanding and cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Federal Public Service for Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Kingdom of Belgium was signed Tuesday in Sarajevo by BiH Minister Elmedin Konakovic and the Belgian Minister, Hadja Lahbib, who is on a two-day working visit to Bosnia. Konakovic expressed his satisfaction that the Memorandum because the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belgium can be of great and significant help to Bosnia in the administrative and technical sense on its road to the EU.

Belgium’s Hadja Lahbib noted that Belgium and BiH have excellent relations.

“I want to note that the Diplomatic Office of Belgium in Sarajevo will grow into the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium, which will contribute to strengthening our relations. We would like to once again emphasize our support for the European integration of BiH. That's why we signed the Memorandum of Understanding, with the aim of supporting the European integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Minister Lahbib said.
