BH Telecom, in collaboration with the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange (IDEEA), has initiated the digitalization of its services, enabling customers to perform tasks such as contract signing and purchasing without visiting physical counters.
Bosnia and Herzegovina's Minister of Communications and Transport, Edin Forto, expressed his excitement about the partnership, calling for more organizations to engage in similar collaborations to advance digital transformation across the country.
Almir Badnjevic, Director of IDEEA, emphasized that customers will soon have access to secure, qualified electronic signatures, allowing them to complete all BH Telecom services digitally from home. The initiative also aims to digitalize services for two banks, allowing citizens to apply for loans online.
Amel Kovacevic, Director of BH Telecom, highlighted that digitalization will enhance service efficiency and reduce operational costs. The digital signature service will be available through BH Telecom’s webshop and app, and gradually introduced at its service centers.
Customers can request the qualified electronic signature at BH Telecom outlets, which will then be used for all future services, including contract signings and device purchases.
