BHRT and RTVFBiH sign agreement with Elektroprivreda BiH on collecting RTV license fee in 2027
Acting Director General of Radio and Television of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BHRT) Belmin Karamehmedovic and Director General of Radio and Television of the Federation of BiH (RTVFBiH) Bakir Hadziomerovic today signed an agreement with Elektroprivreda BiH to continue collecting the RTV license fee in 2027, partially ensuring the continuity of operations of the two public broadcasters.
The directors-general of BHRT and RTVFBiH expressed their gratitude to the management of the public company Elektroprivreda BiH for its socially responsible conduct, which contributes to preserving public broadcasting services in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
BHRT and RTVFBiH announced that an identical agreement on collecting the RTV license fee would also be offered to the public company Elektroprivreda HZ HB.
The survival of public broadcasting services is one of the basic prerequisites for Bosnia and Herzegovina to join Euro-Atlantic integration, according to the joint statement.
