Assistant Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina for International Cooperation Zoran Sajinovic and US Military Envoy to BiH Brigadier Eric Adams signed, on Thursday, the Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan between the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United States Department of Defense for 2024.
The plan entails 95 joint activities between BiH and the US, which Assistant Minister Sajinovic emphasized were prepared to raise the level of training and capacities of the BiH Armed Forces and further increase the degree of interoperability and compatibility of the BiH Armed Forces with the forces of partner countries and the NATO.
He pointed out that the United States are the number one strategic partner for Bosnia and Herzegovina and that this activity plan for the next year confirms that.
Brigadier Adams noted that cooperation is getting stronger every year, and the relations between the armed forces of BiH and the US are getting closer, which was especially demonstrated by the recent official visit of the Commander of the European Command of the US Armed Forces, General Christopher Cavoli, to Sarajevo.
Adams particularly pointed out that ever more US military units express their desire to exercise and carry out activities with the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
On the same occasion, Sajinovic officially signed a separate technical agreement between the BiH Defence Ministry and the US Army Europe and Africa Command (USAREUR-AF), on the support of the host country for military training and exercises on the territory of BiH, the Defence Ministry stated.
