BiH Border Police officers prevent the smuggling of three Myanmar nationals in Bileca area

The smuggling was discovered during border surveillance near Bileca, when officers inspected a passenger vehicle, a Renault with Bosnian license plates. The vehicle was driven by Z. C. (1970), a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia, the Border Police of BiH reported.

The on-duty prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina was informed of the incident, and on their order, the driver was arrested, while evidence was temporarily seized. A report on the criminal offense of migrant smuggling will be submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.

The foreign nationals did not possess identification documents, and in the migrant questionnaires, they stated that they came from Myanmar.

Officers of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, under the supervision of the on-duty prosecutor, are continuing further work on the case.
