The indictment alleges that Nedic and Djurkovic have participated in the persecution of Bosniak civilians on national and religious grounds, which included killings, the forced relocation of the population, unjustified destruction of property and violations against prisoners of war in the northeastern municipality of Ugljevik between April and October 1992.

The two have allegedly failed to “take the necessary and reasonable measures to punish the direct perpetrators of the criminal offences” that they are accused of.
