The Court of BiH confirmed for N1 that it ordered the President of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Republika Srpska (RS) entity Milorad Dodik, RS Prime Minister Radovan Viskovic, and the President of the National Assembly of RS Nenad Stevandic to be placed in one-month detention.

This order was issued after the three failed to respond to the summonses from the Prosecutor's Office of BiH for questioning.

As explained to N1 on several occasions from both a legal and security perspective, if Dodik, Viskovic and Stevandic do not appear for questioning, an order for forced detention can be issued, and if they refuse that as well, there is a possibility of issuing both a domestic and an Interpol arrest warrant.

These actions by the judicial institutions of BiH followed the adoption of laws in the National Assembly of RS that undermine the constitutional order of the country, including attempts to limit the jurisdiction of state institutions in the territory of the RS entity.
