The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has ordered custody for Ramo Mujkic and Vera Mujkic, who are suspected of smuggling large quantities of hand grenades, pistols, automatic rifles, as well as other weapons and ammunition from BiH to Sweden.

The case is the result of cooperation between the BiH Prosecutor's Office and partner agencies of the Republic of Slovenia.

After questioning the suspects, the acting prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption sent a proposal to the Court of BiH to order custody for the suspects.

“The suspects are under investigation by the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and are charged with international smuggling of large quantities of weapons and military equipment intended for the illegal arms market in Sweden, and discovered and seized at the border crossing in Slovenia. The suspects were inaccessible to the BiH judiciary for a long period of time, and in their deprivation of liberty, cooperation was established with the partner institutions of the Kingdom of Sweden,” the Prosecutor's Office said.
