Police officers of the Central Bosnia Canton found a white van for which they believe was used by the Turkish citizen Caner (Fuat) Taylan in committing a double murder in Zenica, Police Chief Hasan Hodzic confirmed for N1 Thursday, adding that the van was in the village called Grablje, Busovaca municipality.
“Last night, we discovered a vehicle that is connected to the event in Zenica. Our police are undertaking activities within our competence and in cooperation with the Zenica Doboj Canton's Ministry of the Interior. The van was found near the main road M5 in Grablje in the municipality of Busovaca,” Hodzic said.
The suspect in the double murder, which was first thought to be the murder of migrants, is still at large.
Caner (Fuat) Taylan, a Turkish citizen, is suspected of murdering two Bosnians from Zenica, Aldina Alic Zenica-Doboj Canton Interior Ministry's spokesperson said.
The police received the report on a brawl in Zenica's Nikola Tesla Street in the morning, where they found a dead body of O.R., who succumbed to injuries he received.
During the investigation later the same day, the police officers discovered a dead body of another man, stating that this murder is likely connected to the same suspect and the incident that was reported in the morning.
