BiH Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik said Wednesday that 10,000 Russian coronavirus vaccines will arrive in Bosnia's Serb-dominated Republika Srpska (RS) entity and that the remaining doses will arrive over the next two months.
He added that he would meet Serbian officials in Belgrade on January 26 where he will also ask that a part of Serbia's shipment of Chinese vaccines be forwarded to the RS.
“Next week we should agree that some of the vaccines from Serbia be forwarded to the RS and we’ll continue the negotiations with China while waiting for the COVAX to finally arrive, making the third vaccine alternative available,” Dodik told Radio Republika Srpska.
He noted that this proves that RS institutions are acting responsibly and that they care for their citizens by acquiring the vaccines.
