Becirovic and Cvijanovic expressed a warm welcome to President Caputova, emphasizing that there are no open issues between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Slovak Republic, that bilateral relations are good and friendly, which represents the basis for further strengthening of cooperation, in accordance with mutually expressed interests bilaterally and internationally.

The two noted that Bosnia appreciates and welcomes Slovakia’s constant support in the European integration process.

They confirmed Bosnia’s complete and unquestionable commitment to full membership in the European Union.

The Presidency members also thanked the Slovakian President for Slovak soldiers’ participation in the EUFOR-ALTEA peacekeeping mission in Bosnia.

President Caputova pointed out that one of the priorities of the Slovak Republic is to support BiH and the Western Balkans’ integration into the European Union.

The interlocutors stated that improving the economic cooperation between BiH and Slovakia is necessary, which has been on the rise lately. President Caputova expressed her country's interest in greater investment in Bosnia.

They all agreed that it is necessary to open the embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Bratislava as soon as possible, which would contribute to improving mutual relations and cooperation between the two countries in all areas.
