According to BiH prosecutors, Luxembourg citizen Jasmin Mulahusic, who was arrested on Saturday for allegedly inciting national, racial and religious hatred, discord and intolerance, and leaking classified information, has been investigated by foreign agencies and might have been connected to persons close to terrorist organisations.

Mulahusic was questioned by BiH prosecutors as a suspect in relation to his controversial posts on social media.

According to prosecutors, he was in the focus of interest of security services of foreign countries, and it is believed that he is connected with persons close to the terrorist organization Al Qaeda and other terrorist organizations.

The prosecutor's office said that the investigation into Mulahusic is highly complex and called on “certain political parties” to “refrain from inappropriate behaviour and open pressure on the judiciary, which could have detrimental consequences for the international reputation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of security and the fight against terrorism.”
