N1 learned on Thursday that the BiH Prosecutor's Office brought charges against Jasmin Mulahusic, born in 1976, living in Luxembourg, who is a citizen of Luxembourg and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The indictment states that acting from the territory of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the accused intended to incite hatred directed against a group of persons or a member of a group in BiH, concerning religion, origin or ethnicity and in this way provoke and incite discord, national and religious hatred and intolerance among the constituent peoples and others, in the period from 2021 to 2023, through at least four profiles on social networks, by sending insults, threats, making of humiliating photo-edits and in other ways, on publicly available internet, insulting and threatening journalists and media workers, as well as other persons.
“Evidence was gathered that the accused continuously published content about the people he targeted by creating photo montages, and by creating false content about the people he wrote about, intending to cause them and their family members a sense of threat, insecurity and fear, which did happen,” the Prosecutor's Office told N1.
Mulahusic is accused of having committed several criminal acts – Inciting ethnic, racial and religious hatred, discord and intolerance from Article 145a paragraph 2 of the CC of BiH, as well as the criminal offence of Endangering security from Article 183 paragraph 1 of the CC of BiH.
Over the past years, N1 television has submitted several criminal complaints against Jasmin Mulahusic to the State Prosecutor's Office and the State Investigations and Protection Agency precisely because of the acts alleged in the indictment.
