The Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nenad Nesic, has been transferred to the prison in Vojkovici after being hospitalized at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS).
This information was confirmed to the N1 portal by the director of the state prison, Sinisa Perkovic.
Nesic was hospitalized a few days prior due to high blood pressure. His health condition delayed his transfer to custody after he was ordered to serve a one-month detention period.
The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina rejected an appeal filed by his attorney, Senka Nozica, against the detention order, resulting in the one-month detention being upheld.
Additionally, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH had previously stated that detention was also ordered for Mladen Lucic and Milan Dakic, who were arrested during the “Tunnel 2” operation and are already in state custody.
The Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, Milanko Kajganic, said that the suspects had caused multimillion-dollar damage to the “Putevi RS” company.
