The West-Herzegovina Canton's Civil Protection Administration issued an order allowing spectators to attend sports competitions indoors (sports halls) and outdoors (stadiums), during an extraordinary session on February 2.
According to this order, the presence of a limited number of spectators at sports competitions in indoor facilities (sports halls) is allowed by filling every third registered seat. The obligation to wear masks is still in force. Spectators in open spaces (sports stadiums) are also allowed with the instruction to fill every second registered seat.
“Organizers of gatherings, sports competitions, and users of sports halls and stadiums are obliged to ensure compliance with hygienic and epidemiological measures according to the recommendations of the West-Herzegovina Canton's Public Health Institute,” the Administration said.
Visiting spectators, those from other areas, are still not allowed to attend sporting events.
