Bosnia and Herzegovina's best swimmer, Lana Pudar, advanced to the finals of the 50-meter butterfly race at the FINA Swimming World Cup 2021 in Kazan, Russia.
The fifteen-year-old swimmer from Mostar won third place in her group in the semifinals with a time of 26.15 seconds, and ranked fifth, making it to the finals. Australian Emma McKeon achieved the best time in the semifinals with 25.50 seconds.
Pudar represented Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Olympic Games in Tokyo this year but she did not make it to the semi-finals. It was her first appearance in this competition.
Previously, she won gold in European Junior Swimming Championship.
