'Blackbird Blackbird Blackberry' film by Elene Naeriani, which had its regional premiere at the 29th Sarajevo Film Festival, was declared the best feature film of the festival and was awarded the Heart of Sarajevo in a ceremony on Friday night at the Sarajevo National Theatre.

Philip Sotnychenko (‘La Palisada’) is the best director of this year's SFF edition.

Jovan Gigic (‘Lost Country’) won the award in the best actor category, while the best actress of the 29th SFF is Ekaterina Chavleishvili (‘Blackbird Blackbird Blackberry’).

The jury decided that the best documentary film this year is ‘Bottleman’ by Nemanja Vojinovic.

Selma Doborac received the special award for promotion of gender equality for her ‘De Facto’ film.

‘Valerija’ by Sare Jurincic is the best short documentary.

Scottish filmmaker Lynne Ramsay received the Honorary Heart of Sarajevo.
