Bone fragments, shoes and a wristwatch which most likely belonged to a 1992-1995 war victim were exhumed in Sarajevo’s centre, near the University Clinical Centre on Wednesday.

The exhumation was carried out based on information from a witness who stated that the remains of a victim, which were transferred from the morgue of the hospital in Kosevo, could be found at the site.

The remains will now be sent to a laboratory in order to identify the victims through DNA analysis.
