Bosina’s former Security Minister Dragan Mektic Assaulted in Prnjavor

According to reports, the attackers knocked Mektic to the ground and struck him multiple times before fleeing. He received medical assistance following the incident, and the case has been reported to the local police station.

The on-duty prosecutor has classified the attack as a criminal offence of bodily injury and has ordered further investigation.

Mektic served as Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Minister of Security from March 31, 2015, to December 23, 2019.
