Bosnia Archbishop Vuksic extends Eid al-Adha greetings
Monsignor Tomo Vuksic, Archbishop of Vrhbosna, extended Eid al-Adha greetings to the Grand Mufti of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Husein Kavazovic, and members of the Islamic Community on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, which Muslim believers will soon celebrate as a holiday commemorating God's mercy and goodness, and as an opportunity to perform acts of compassion, KTA reported.
In his message, Archbishop Vuksic prayed for God's blessing upon all people so that, especially in a time marked by war tragedies and suffering, they may return to acts of kindness and persevere on the path of peacemaking and bearing witness to God's peace, mutual friendship, harmony, brotherhood, and solidarity with the poor, friends, and neighbors.
Archbishop Vuksic also sent a greeting to Sarajevo Mufti Nedzad Grabus, Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Becirovic, and others.
